Medical review and editorial policy
How content is created and limited
This policy explains how Dr. Vivek's AI handles medical content, source grounding, updates, and safety limitations.
Editorial purpose
The site is built for medical education, clinical reference, exam preparation, and patient explanation. It is not a substitute for a licensed clinician's judgment or local guideline-based care.
Source approach
- Textbook tools retrieve from configured local textbook indexes before generating an answer.
- Ask Evidence searches PubMed and produces a cited synthesis from retrieved abstracts.
- Drug and clinical tools should be verified against current labels, formularies, and local protocols.
Review process
Content is reviewed through user feedback, spot checks, source inspection, and prompt/retrieval improvements. Corrections are prioritized when an answer is incomplete, unsafe, poorly sourced, or misleading.
Updates
Clinical guidance can change. Pages and prompts are updated when better sources, new textbook indexes, guideline changes, or user feedback identify a meaningful improvement.
Corrections
To report a correction, use the feedback page or email mail@drvivek.com.np. Include the page, question, answer issue, and preferred source if available.
