# Liquid Paraffin + Milk of Magnesia + Sodium Picosulphate ## Overview This combination product is a laxative used for the relief of occasional constipation. Liquid paraffin is a lubricant laxative, milk of magnesia is an osmotic laxative, and sodium picosulphate is a stimulant laxative. ## Primary Indications * Relief of occasional constipation. ## Adult Dosing * **Usual Dose:** 10-15 mL once daily at bedtime. * **Maximum Dose:** Do not exceed 15 mL in a 24-hour period. * Individual dosing may vary based on patient response and local protocol. ## Pediatric Dosing * **Children 12 years and older:** 10-15 mL once daily at bedtime. * **Children under 12 years:** Safety and efficacy have not been established.
