# Ezivac enema
## Overview
Ezivac enema is a hyperosmotic laxative containing glycerin and liquid paraffin. It acts by drawing water into the colon, softening stool, and lubricating the intestinal passage.
## Primary Indications
Treatment of constipation, particularly in situations requiring rapid bowel evacuation.
## Adult Dosing
**Rectal:** 1 single-dose pre-filled enema (typically 5 mL as per available formulations, but check specific product labeling for exact volume). Administer as a single dose as needed.
## Pediatric Dosing
