## Overview

## Primary Indications
Otic fungal infections (otomycosis).
## Adult Dosing
* **Otomycosis:** Apply 3-4 drops into the affected ear(s) 3-4 times daily. Duration of treatment varies, typically 2-4 weeks.
## Pediatric Dosing
* **Otomycosis:** Apply 3-4 drops into the affected ear(s) 3-4 times daily. Duration of treatment varies, typically 2-4 weeks. Data for < 3 years of age may be limited; consult specific pediatric guidelines.
## Dose Adjustments
No dose adjustments are necessary for renal or hepatic impairment.
## Contraindications
* Hypersensitivity to clotrimazole or any component of the formulation.
* Perforated tympanic membrane (consider in formulation safety).
## Adverse Effects
* Local irritation, burning, stinging, redness, itching.
* Dryness of the ear canal.
