## Adult Dosing
Apply externally to the affected area as needed, typically 3-4 times daily. No specific maximum dose is established for topical application.
## Pediatric Dosing
Apply externally to the affected area as needed. No specific dose adjustments are required for pediatric patients, but use cautiously and avoid application to broken skin or large areas without consulting a healthcare provider.
## Dose Adjustments
No dose adjustments are necessary based on renal or hepatic impairment, as systemic absorption is minimal with topical use.

## Adverse Effects
* Skin irritation, dryness, or redness may occur.
* If swallowed, may cause gastrointestinal upset.

## Monitoring
* Monitor for signs of worsening skin irritation or hypersensitivity reactions.
* If symptoms persist or worsen after 7 days of use, discontinue and consult a healthcare provider.
## Clinical Pearls
