It functions by evaporating upon application for a cooling effect and providing a mild astringent action on the skin. ## Primary Indications * Temporary relief of itching and pain associated with minor skin irritations (e.g., poison ivy, poison oak, poison sumac, insect bites, and heat rash). * Drying of oozing or weeping skin lesions. ## Adult Dosing * **Topical:** Shake well before use.
