It acts as an astringent and mild antipruritic by cooling the skin via evaporation and providing a protective barrier. ## Primary Indications * Relief of itching, pain, and discomfort associated with minor skin irritations. * Poison ivy, poison oak, and poison sumac. * Insect bites and minor rashes. ## Adult Dosing * **Topical:** Apply a thin layer to the affected area as needed, up to 3–4 times daily.
